Review on πŸ“· SIOTI Bowl Ball Head: Ultimate Mounting Solution for DSLR, Mirrorless Cameras, Camcorders, Telescopes, Sliders, and Tripods by Shane Schobinger

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice smooth grip for liquid but not perfect.

(Released to show bushing + bottom screw added) A fluid feel is created by the bushing and a thick, clear o-ring lube. I like this style because it's compact and muscular. However, I don't like that the base rotates when the knob is released. The set screw (on the opposite side) must be tightened to hold the assembly together but not prevent the base from rotating. I hate it with all single head screws. I also hate the notch on the opposite side of the handle and not at a 90 degree angle to the handle. I had to add my own 90 degree slot to use it on my Mavic controller. I also added a slot on the inner conical case with an Allen screw on the bottom of the outer case so it can slide up and down when the thumbscrew is turned in but not rotate. The finish is nice, but the ball head doesn't turn smoothly like a luxury pen. For $15 I would buy it again, but I would pay $25 for a 2.0 version that suits my needs. I needed something strong and nicely made, I like it. that would meet my needs. I needed something strong and nicely made, I like it. that would meet my needs.
