I've been using a cheap centrifugal juicer every day for quite some time. I wanted to upgrade and researched cold press masticatory juicers. After several weeks of searching Amazon and waiting for a specific device, I finally settled on this Caymel. I won't lie, I fought him at first. The pulp spout got clogged and I had some trouble figuring out how to take everything apart when it came time to clean. Once I figured out a few things, things got a lot easier. A few recommendations: I know they say you can use whole apples and other fruits, but that's not the best option. If you don't want the pulp spout to clog, I suggest cutting things up. Especially fibrous vegetables and fruits like celery and beets. Also, starting with softer things and moving on to harder things, the mush runs through. Do not pull the screen too hard, it may damage it. I grab the tip of the auger and wiggle it back and forth a bit and it usually falls out with the screen! Overall I love this juicer! It is quiet and makes very tasty juices! Better to centrifuge! I make juice every day and really enjoy using this juicer. Also note that it will not fit under the tall cabinets as long as you have the standard 18 inch height between counter and cabinet. See photo.
