This is the best Christmas decoration I have ever bought. I have an artificial tree with pre-installed lights, all white. I would never buy this, I got it for free. I understand that some people like white light, but I find it boring. I found this product on Revain. There is no need to attach fairy lights all over the tree, all light threads are attached to the ring. Just place the ring on the tree, untie the blonde strands, let them cascade, connect and voila, instant lights. It even comes with a star-shaped treetop that also lights up but can be turned off if you don't want to use it. The lighting can be controlled either with a control box on the power line or with the remote control included in the kit. It has eight different lighting patterns. It remembers the last pattern. So if you turn it off or even turn off the power, when you turn it back on it will immediately light up the same way it was before. The candles look really great. I saw a similar item that is no longer available, with 64 large bulbs and no remote control and twice the price. There are 300 lights here. My tree (pictured) is 6 1/2 feet tall and the lights are the perfect length, but you can stretch or group them to make them longer or shorter as needed. Some reviews complained about the inability to use every light pattern with every color. This is unnecessary criticism. There are eight patterns to choose from, some using only white light and some using colored light. If you don't find anything you like in these eight patterns, you're just being too picky.
