I bought this carpet cleaner from my parents. My dad is sensitive to chemicals and strong perfume smells, so the fact that this product was free from harsh chemicals and fragrance was a huge draw. I've used carpet cleaners before and they've all been decent but nothing exceptional. This yeast-infused material is better than anything I've ever used to clean carpets. I used it to the fullest to clean high traffic areas and heavier soiled areas that had been pre-treated but still soiled. It makes the carpets look fantastic, smells, dirt, stains are gone. I've also used it in diluted proportions and it still works very well. The citrus scent is very pleasant and not overpowering when first applied to carpets, but dissipates quickly over time. I use a Hoover vacuum and have found these steps give the best results. 1. Vacuum. 2. Wet the carpet with hot water. 3. Apply cleaning solution. 4. Leave on for 20-30 minutes and absorb. 5. Rinse, aspirate remaining water/solution and allow to dry. You can pay extra attention to heavily soiled areas and use less water/detergent to allow the cleaning solution to fight stains. Really very happy with the results of this product considering no harsh chemicals are used.
