I bought this for my client who is old school and loves to drive. They work in carpentry and upscale woodworking, so I thought this trip would be a nice touch. The customer was absolutely delighted. I've used them for other clients since then and they love the look of the high quality wood too. I can't comment on the longevity of flash drive technology itself. But as far as downloading and shutting down files goes, everything worked smoothly and quickly. So far I haven't seen any signs of problems, no red flags. But no matter what, it is always important to backup all important files/photos across multiple drives/devices. Caution should also be exercised with discs of well-known brands.
