The first time I put batteries in it worked straight away. I was able to change channels, use the guide button as well as the info button. The channel up/down button worked fine as did the volume button etc. Unfortunately the next day the guide button stopped working, the information button stopped working and the up/down button stopped working. The volume buttons, mute buttons still work, as do the left-right buttons and the smart hub. The main reason I bought this was the smart hub and also the left right buttons still work so I'm fine. . The right button stopped working on my old remote which caused huge problems when I was on Netflix/Revain etc. So for $10 I'm not complaining. I deducted 1 star because the buttons no longer work. I was hoping to just replace the wired remote and only use 1 remote, but that's not going to happen. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? But again, I'm very happy that I can now navigate Netflix, Revain, etc - the main reason I bought the remote. I'm attaching a picture showing my old remote next to the new one. The old one didn't have numbers, which I never liked. I was hoping this would replace it and was so happy when I was initially able to switch channels with it. But maybe the problem is with my TV and not the remote control as the original remote didn't have numbers. Who knows, but the buttons I need work, so I'm fine. .
