After watching the YouTube video I bought Meguiar's Compound to use on my black enamel stove. When the last tenants left my apartment, they must have cleaned the black enamel panels with those green washcloths. I've scoured the internet to see if there's anything that can be done to hide the scratches (I know they will always be there unless varnished). For $10 it was worth a try. Sorry I didn't take a before and after photo because my oven looks amazing! Yes, you can see scratches, but it's 100% better than when it started. Most of the really bad scratches around the burners are covered up. Dude, this plate is shiny! I think if I process it again it can hide a few more scratches. If Meguiar's Compound works that well in the kitchen, I should see how it does with my black car. I think I will pass this job on to my husband.
