MUST be cleaned before installation!
The item I received had aluminum shavings inside the intercooler on the intake manifold. And not just a few. Several hundred small chips were left behind in the production process. If I installed this without removing the chips it would crash. The quality of the product is decent and the installation is pretty good, but the possibility of someone ruining their engine by installing it without cleaning it is a big concern.
