Review on Zojirushi Thermal Serve Carafe: 1.0 Liter Capacity, Japan-Made Quality, Polished Stainless Steel by Ronnie Saylor

I bought these to make coffee and take it upstairs while planning my board which I do every early morning. This mug has done its job well so far, but I'll try a different one in the future. It keeps coffee warm for hours BUT if you forget to close the lid all the way when you're done pouring. , Your coffee will be warm/cold. It also makes a gurgling sound right after the lid is closed, and can continue to do so long after you've closed it and put it back in (assuming there's steam inside). That's too much to get the coffee spilling out faster, but if you do that the coffee will squirt out from under the top lid as well and can make a mess. It also drips out of the spout after you press "Pour Done" and you'll end up with coffee on your table/lap/etc. I don't like the fact that you have to unscrew/unscrew the cap every time you pour. In the future I will look for something more efficient but for the price this device is not bad and does the job well. If you're worried about everything working fine (like me) and not making a mess, look for another pan!
