I comb my hair wet with balm. Detangles not as well as we would like, but the "algae" is excellent. The consistency is quite liquid, similar to 15% sour cream. On my hair below the shoulders, the consumption is average. I will not say that it is super economical, but it does not go away "in years". The aroma is neutral, not cloying, although many complain about the aroma. Perhaps it is aloe that is weak in aroma, I have not tried the rest of the masks from this series yet. I didn't notice any smell on my hair after washing. About half of the can is used up in the photo, used about 5 times. I wash my head every 5-7 days.
