I was a little hesitant to order this as people wrote that it didn't fit the 2" plug or was the wrong thread. Threading was a bit fiddly. start right. Don't snap the thread, keep it straight and do the first few turns slowly and it works fine. I use mine on a Petro-Canada 55 gallon steel drum. like most other 55 gallon kegs. I had a tri-lite style cork. In the photo, the oil filter is held in place by a small round magnet that I attached to the screen. Just in case anyone is interested.
