UPDATE: During the rain, water seeped through the moldings in the front doors, dripping into the car, damaging the power windows and locks and soaking the carpet. Hundreds of euros damage! I just received this product and installed it on my Ford Escape windshield. It fits great and is easy to install and secure. It's lightweight and folds up nicely, so I don't expect any problems getting it on and off everyday. I got it mainly so that a lot of the leaves and seed pods that fall on my car wouldn't fill the chute at the bottom of the windshield and get into the engine bay and filters. I think it will be great in winter too. My only complaint is that the magnets are very small and don't stick to the hood at all. As if there weren't magnets, but I checked they definitely are (but they were hard to find because they're so tiny). The lid seems long enough and strong enough that this shouldn't be a problem, but larger, more powerful magnets could easily fit into this product. Didn't they test it first to see if the magnets didn't work?
