Review on 🥧 9-Inch Aluminized Steel Pie Pan by USA Pan Bakeware by Devon Holmes

As the brand name suggests, these pans are 100% made in the USA. I am pleased to report that all pans in their line are of the same high quality. We are still able to manufacture products in this country that will work in all offshore markets. All pans have indentations on the bottom and sometimes on the sides to improve the baking process and prevent food from sticking. All pans have an Americoat non-stick coating, which I have read is free of PFE or Teflon plastic of any kind. I don't know what the coating is, but it's really strong. I often use metal utensils with pans and the pans just don't seem to scratch. It doesn't look like a coating at all, more like a piece of metal. What you'll notice most about all of these pans is their weight - they're probably the heaviest baking pans I've ever used. However, they don't seem to take longer to heat up than lighter pans. The silvery color does not add darkness to the crusts. Chocolate chip cookies on my dark pans always turn dark brown on the bottom, but they come out perfect with USA pans. I'm not a big baker, but even I can make delicious dishes out of these pans. For example, the bottom crust of an apple pie bakes up a little crispy in these cake pans, which I think is perfect. When cooking on the middle rack, the pies in the center are baked at the same time as the cakes. I prefer to leave the pastries to the landlady, who swears by these pans for cakes, biscuits and cakes. As a result, we bought almost the entire line, which is quite extensive. I like to use large baking sheets to cook meat and potatoes in the oven and these pans are great at that too. No matter what we've cooked in it, nothing seems to stick or peel off right away, so the coating seems to be doing its job pretty well. These aren't the cheapest pans, but they're not the most expensive either. But these are definitely the best bakeware we've ever used, no matter the price. I can't rate them higher than 5, or I would. I recommend everyone the whole line.
