🥧 9-Inch Aluminized Steel Pie Pan by USA Pan Bakeware Review

When I received the cake mold and washed it before use, I noticed rust on the edge of the mold. I managed to erase it but I'm sure the integrity of the silicone coating is damaged. Photos before and after cleaning. What a disappointment with a product made in the USA.

After searching in stores for a metal pie pan with no luck, I looked into Revain. I bought two, all different brands. This is the best of the two. It bakes evenly and is larger than the size of cake pans found in chain cake restaurants. As a result, I don't have to throw away any part of the pumpkin pie mix because this large pie has it all. I love the pan so much that I'm ordering another one. Most importantly, Made in the USA!

This is by far my favorite cake pan and I make a lot of cakes. What makes it especially great is its weight and thickness, resulting in a heavy browning of the bottom crust. I also like glass pie plates, but I feel like an aluminized steel pan works even better. I can actually lift an entire cake out of the pan without sticking once the cake has cooled. Research, thick and wonderful cake pan. Thanks USAPAN, always great products. I will kill anyone who uses a metal cake knife with this pan when I serve them a cake. Seriously, I can take revenge on this pan for 20 years :) Unfortunately, the packaging or storage conditions have led to dents on the product, which has caused the Americaat to come loose. I bought this cake pan last November. When I first used it I was amazed at how the pumpkin pie turned out. The second cake I made, the blueberry cake, turned out great too. But when I washed the empty pot, I noticed the coating was peeling off. Both times I used non-metallic utensils to serve the cake and both times I hand washed the pan with a cotton rag. As the brand name suggests, these pans are 100% made in the USA. I am pleased to report that all pans in their line are of the same high quality. We are still able to manufacture products in this country that will work in all offshore markets. All pans have indentations on the bottom and sometimes on the sides to improve the baking process and prevent food from sticking.
