If you're like me and need to keep water handy, then you need it. I was searching the market for a small water bottle that would fit nicely in my fanny pack. The problem is that they usually hold less water (e.g. 8 ounce bottles). Then I realized I didn't have to *just look at the water bottles*. First I looked at the bottles, but then I turned my attention to the lab containers. I found this and it is PERFECT. Its shape fits easily in my belt bag (size 5.5 L) and leaves room for storage. It holds the same amount of water as a regular water bottle and WILL NOT LEAK! I throw it in the dishwasher on the top shelf to clean it. It is also easy to clean by hand as it has a wide opening. The wide opening also makes it easy to add ice or electrolyte bags. At my house we drink water from our polyurethane filter because: 1) carrying a pack of plastic water bottles to our house is a hassle 2) it reduces plastic waste 3) it becomes cheaper overall 4) you've all seen the coronavirus + hoarding. I don't worry about not finding water when I can get safe and filtered water at home. We use these bottles for our water bottles for the reasons above. We also added soda to them! It does not flow, but can become "swollen". It doesn't turn into a ball or anything like that; It's more like having a "food baby". This soda puffiness disappears a bit when you open the lid and returns to its original shape after washing in the dishwasher.
