
I first bought them to use in a suitcase but then I noticed they were only 1/4 inch long while the ones in the suitcase were 3/8 inch long were, so I put them aside. and as luck would have it I had the opportunity to work on another case that used 1/4 inch studs but they were not brass and 3 were removed. Startech to the rescue. With them on hand I was able to decide the problem and start building. I wish all case manufacturers would standardize on one height and screw pattern, but that might be too much these days.
