NOT SUITABLE FOR MWC-7 FILTRATION SYSTEM
Despite the bad reviews decided to take a chance and order this as usually an aftermarket item works well. However, this did not happen. Everything was fine as long as I put it back in my filter until I got to the top ceramic where the plug is. The diameter was slightly larger than the hole, which prevented the plunger from falling fully into the quartz sleeve. Very disappointed with the poor tolerances and fit of this aftermarket bulb but I think that's what you get for a half price bulb. I ended up going back and buying a basic lightbulb from a local dealer.
