Despite the bad reviews decided to take a chance and order this as usually an aftermarket item works well. However, this did not happen. Everything was fine as long as I put it back in my filter until I got to the top ceramic where the plug is. The diameter was slightly larger than the hole, which prevented the plunger from falling fully into the quartz sleeve. I just saw the previous review and I have to agree. I have previously purchased 2 bulbs from this seller. The first was ok. It was time to replace the second bulb and I bought another one. When it arrived I tried to remove the old one but it was too tight in the plastic top, it detached from the power cord and fell into the unit, breaking the quartz tube. I had to order a replacement quartz tube. When it arrived I reassembled the unit and then tried to put in a new bulb. The end cap is too big,
