Overheats quickly: splitter

Overheats after only 30-40 minutes of operation, had to reboot frequently, eventually switched to a Sanoxy 1x2 splitter and connected a third device in series. My Sanoxy (Lontium LT86102SX) overheats after 10-12 hours of use. These Lontium chips need some cooling, at least passive heatsinks. Contains Lontium LT86104SX HDMI 1.4 chip.
