The monkey is very cute. I have received many compliments. I used to have a tea filter. The chain gets tangled or snaps or the rim slips driving me insane. No more fuss. This monkey is good. I have to say that the arms fit better in a BIG 20oz mug, so the arms are too long for my regular mug. On the other hand, if you use a large 20-ounce mug, the water cools too quickly. I just rest my hands on the rim of the mug and let my palms hang over the mug. You can adjust the strength of the tea by pouring tea leaves on the belly and head, or just on the belly, or just on the head. The tray is too small, for some reason the monkey doesn't stand on it well. I wish the tray was bigger so the monkey could lie on it. But it's normal. I'm glad it's stainless steel, not rust. I bought two. After a few weeks of use, I found that if I let the monkey's arms hang over the cup, the tea leaves in the monkey's head would never end up in the water because the monkey's arms couldn't bend close enough to his head dip your head in the water. So I cross my arms and let the monkey completely submerge in the water.
