Great concept. Love the design and the fact that it's glass with a beautiful wooden top. In theory it should work. However, there are about 2.5cm slits in the glass (I didn't measure), the list doesn't allow you to use all loose tees. It is recommended to be used with pearl teas, but pearl teas need a place to bloom that is too crowded to brew. As advertised, this teapot only works with tea pearls or other large teas. Unfortunately, most teas on the market are not like this. I give them credit for touting the product as ideal for teas that don't need fine filtration like pearls, but I just can't understand the niche of this product. So cute! Just the right size for the right amount of tea. It takes some practice to get used to putting the lid on when it's full, but that's really the only major downside as it's a bit flimsy.
