Review on CUT-50 DC Inverter Plasma Cutter: Dual Voltage Metal Cutting Machine, Compact Design - Display4top by Ian Bates

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very easy to use. Good price for a layman.

First plasma cutter I own. It's great and easy to use. This is much faster than with a grinder or an electric saw. I don't get awards for nice haircuts. This takes some practice. Don't worry, there is no dryer attachment. I used zip ties to tie it at the back. A little scared but does the job. In a way, it's better than a hard mount in case something heavy hits it. There will be. Plugged into a 110 volt outlet, I can run it at around 35 amps, which is good for whatever I'm about to cut. sheet metal to 3/16. I typically use around 28 amps and it turns off everything I wanted to turn off. Lots of security locks so if I overload it it shuts off. It sucks in quite a bit of air and I have to hook up my compressor to another. Circuit or I turn off the switch if both trip. If I were a professional machinist or worked hard I would probably spend more for a more reliable machine, but this is great for hobbies and smaller projects. Very easy to use. , even for a beginner like me.
