I use this when my cats are showing signs of vomiting due to hairballs or as in the case of a cat that has very early stages of kidney disease and eats very little at a time, drinking mostly water from mushy canned food that I give her. . It seems to settle her stomach. I put a drop or two on my index finger and rub it on my cat's teeth and gums. I do this with 4-10 drops depending on how irritable the cat is to me. If I give it to them before they throw up, they won't throw up. I have 4 older cats. Nobody likes that on wet food, so hand application is the solution. Also, I know how much they use. I don't give them every day, but every few days. There is no schedule.
