These stainless steel measuring cups, the measurements are engraved on the handle and I'd like to give them five stars. However, I have used them several times and felt that they are not accurate. So I stopped using them. Recently I decided to pull out my accurate digital scale and measure how much water is in each of them. Too bad I didn't do it right away so I can return them and get a refund. I placed each cup on the scale individually, zeroed the cup's weight, and then measured the weight of the water in ml. . The size and number of cups in milliliters are engraved on the handle (which is nice), but highlights their inaccuracy. 1 cup holds 269 ml. (should be 236 ml). In another measure, 1 cup contains 9.1 ounces and should only contain 8 ounces. Water. 1/2 cup holds 138 ml. (should be 118 ml) 1/3 cup contains 92 ml. (should be 78 ml) 1/4 cup contains 66 ml. (should be 59 ml) These variations are too big. Especially when duplicating recipes, these inaccuracies add up to the end product (especially baked goods).
