So far these lights have been great. We hung them on our 7ft Christmas tree and they look amazing. Our Christmas tree is quite full and thick, but we only have lights wrapped around the front. A 99 foot skein was perfect for our purposes, but I'm not sure we would have covered the entire tree if we pulled it all the way around. Flashing functions are not important to us, although the kids were interested in trying it out. Dimming is a nice touch, although we've only used full power so far. By far the easiest string of lights on wood we've encountered and we love how the copper cord blends into the picture better than traditional cords. Very happy with this purchase and hope they stand the test of time.
