Review on High-Performance CURT 21728 Rubber Trailer Hitch Cover Incorporating 4-Way Flat Wiring Holder, Ideal for 2-Inch Receiver by Justin Torres

I was looking for a 2" rubber cap with no logo for my 2" receiver on a U-Haul hitch I installed on my 2014 Toyota Rav4. I needed a clean look when I didn't have a CURT cargo basket on the car. This item went securely into the 2 inch socket without the use of force and stayed in place as expected. The rubber is not overly stiff so there is some play that will likely shrink in cold weather and swell a little in warm weather. (Now I use it at 30-60 degrees with no play in the fit.) I like that this cover has a locking ring. I have a clutch twister on top of the receiver. I just push the ring back from the hole towards the receiver to make sure the lid doesn't accidentally fall onto the hole when trying to attach the holder. I will have no hesitation in buying another if needed and recommending it to others who don't. need a logo or something shiny but need protection and a cleaner look on their 2" hitch receiver.
