Yesterday I had my first opportunity to use my new Allstar air rivet gun. Taking the advice of another Revain reviewer, I primed the gun by adding a few drops of air tool oil to both the air intake chamber and the air cylinder chamber. I didn't pull the piston out of the air cylinder chamber to add fluid. I simply put some air tool oil in the chamber and hand worked the piston to ensure the seal was well lubricated. I've only used about 25-30 rivets so far, but this gun works flawlessly and has quickly become my go-to tool. So, in summary, this pistol performs excellently. At $60, this tool is worth every penny. I would recommend this tool to anyone tired of old school rivets. I'll definitely edit my review and let you know how this gun holds up after a few thousand rivets. Update 10/12/13: A few hundred rivets and still valid!
