The screen stopped working after 6 months. The computer still recognizes it as a valid display, but as far as I can see there is no backlight or image. It's dead. When it worked the touchscreen wasn't very accurate, it took a couple of tries to actually select what you really wanted on the screen. Maybe it would work better if I took the time to set it up properly, but I wanted something plug and play. The touchscreen input draws enough power to power the device, which is annoying if you're having power issues with your Raspberry Pi. It might draw enough current to prevent my raspberry pi from booting in the event of a reboot. To work around this, I would unplug the touch input cable, reboot the Raspberry Pi, wait for it to boot, and then plug it back in.
