Easy installation for WPS router

It was easy to install. I followed these simple steps: (1) I plugged the power strip into an outlet near the router and waited about a minute for the power light to turn from red to green; (2) pressed the WPS button on the extender, causing the WPS LED on the extender to blink green; (3) pressed the WPS button on my router; (4) After about a minute, the WPS LED on the extender will turn green and the router LED will turn on (also solid green), indicating that the extender and router are communicating; (5) unplugged the power strip and plugged it back in about halfway between the router and the computer I wanted to connect to the network; (6) waited for the Power, Router, and WPS LEDs on the extender to return to solid green; (7) then turned on the computer and connected to the new extended Wi-Fi network. Works perfectly! Easy installation and it fixed my connection issues. If your router does not have a WPS button, you must use the NETGEAR Online Installer application to set up the extender. I can't comment on this process as I didn't have to use it. By the way, the extender can extend a 2.4GHz network and a 5GHz network. If your router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks and you want to extend both, after step (4) above, turn off the extender with the power button, then restart it and follow the steps ( 1)-(4) above. . If you connect your device to an extended network, you will see two new networks with the same name as the existing 2.4 and 5 GHz networks but with the following extensions _2GEXT and _5GEXT. Very easy setup and great results with my new extended network. Also, the extension itself is small and doesn't have any protruding antennas, making it neat and almost invisible.
