My daughter wore this set to prom - it came with extra stones - I believe to explain the fact that the stones are/are missing when this item arrives (or in the future ). Unfortunately, we didn't open and notice the box until the night before prom, and we didn't have jewelry glue to put it in; it didn't seem to bother them because you really had to look to see the missing bricks. If you're doing close-ups, you need to have enough time (in my opinion) to replace them. It is a beautiful piece and I hope to wear it again!
