I usually haul light stuff for miles on my HF trailer and HATE that ugly spare tire blocking my view. Visibility doesn't improve much when I'm plowing. So I took the risk of uninstalling this and have to say I'm really pleased with the quality and ease of installation! Looks great, not flashy or flashy. I have a white 2015 JK and it looks fantastic. Very easy to assemble and fastens well. The pads fit perfectly. The screws for fixing the spare wheel fit perfectly, no additional tools are required. All the little things that were removed (everything that would fit) I put in the door behind the vent so as not to lose. It would be very easy to reverse this process if the Jeep were to be sold. By far the best upgrade on this Jeep for less than $30. Not having a rear spare isn't a huge problem for me since I never go more than 45 miles one way and have been an AAA member for over 20 years.
