I ordered this to pay a deposit for the jewelry I have made. I've only used it 3 times and that was with practice wire. I didn't throw away any of the wires I used and had to start over to get it right and when I have leftovers from the part I make I have that too. This tool will take some practice, but I think it's already a good addition to my slowly but surely growing jewelry toolbox. I wanted the handrails to look more consistent and professional than I made them before I learn every time I make them. Yes! I'm happy with this instrument, even though I need practice to bring it up to fine art level. I know I have to be careful and carefree with it in order not to scratch the surface of any wire I use. If anyone wants to use it in their jewelry tool kit to make a bail or whatever they have in mind, get this tool. Don't be too rough with this as you want to make sure you don't strip the coating off any wire you may be working with. I think this is really a nice addition to my toolbox. Once I've worked with it long enough to get used to it and start using it without taking too much time, I'll report on how well it works for me and for jewelry.
