I carve my own granite countertops from pre-cut granite slabs. I use other tools to cut and sand everything. I then used these bits to straighten the edges with a 2hp router. attached to granite with 1/2" collet and straight edge. Similar to sanding wood with 80 grit sandpaper. It doesn't cut like a router.
