I bought these specifically for bullet journaling. Many in the BUJO community love them for their artificial calligraphy and embellishment, but I've struggled to reproduce their results. The tip is not flexible or sharp enough to adequately distinguish between up and down movements unless you have a very steady and dexterous hand. Embellishments look watery and spread easily across the page when you try to use them with stencils. I'll say they're good for not bleeding on typical bullet journal pads - I've experienced that a bit with my candlestick, but the bleeding was very minimal on my Scribbles That Matter. Nevertheless, I give it four stars because the price is phenomenal for the large selection of colors. I will still use them for accents or other projects, I just don't need them for the purpose I originally bought them for.
