This ceiling light is a beautiful addition to a room when the ceiling height does not allow for a chandelier. complex installation for several reasons. 1) The included mounting hardware is cheap, cheap, cheap - screws and threads are easy to remove. 2) Mounting hardware is metric, not SAE (US sizes). Therefore, mixing and matching existing fasteners/bolts/screws/nuts is not acceptable. It has to be both. This is a problem when retrofitting existing lighting fixtures. 3) Many adjustments and a lot of effort were required at each stage of the installation. Takes a lot of time. After much frustration, I went to Home Depot to replace all the cheap metric fasteners, nuts and bolts. I finally installed it and it looks good but it took too much time and effort. It should have been a much simpler setup. I really recommend that if manufacturers want to sell in the US they should include SAE sized mounting hardware - and definitely not some cheap soft metal junk that can be easily detached. This is the main reason for my bad rating. Requires 2 candelabra bases, not a standard base. After all the hassle I wouldn't buy it again - and was REALLY close to boxing it up and sending it back. I just decided it wouldn't overwhelm me.
