Review on GE FXHSC Sediment Pre Filtration System for Household by Marfel Fekete

We recently built a new house, we have a well. The water is tasty, but contains a lot of iron. My wife is a cleaning fanatic and our toilets will be turning orange in about 3 days. Of course it drove her crazy. I checked online reviews and the GE whole house filter got very good reviews at a moderate price. Our toilets are very clean now. The filter must be replaced every 3 months or 30,000 gallons. Just my wife and I installed all the faucets, toilets and the low flow front loading washing machine. I just changed the filter after 6 months when we noticed a slight drop in pressure. Our water seems to form a slimy orange film unless it's filtered. The filter solved this problem.
