This is the remote control that was supposed to come with the Xfinity X1 system. The solid shape is less likely to slip out of your hand than a standard remote, the backlit buttons are great, and the flat back keeps it from rolling. It seems a bit larger than the standard remote so it might bother some people, but other than that it's excellent. If you have an X1 and miss the backlit buttons of the old silver Comcast remotes, get them now - you won't regret it! Easy to set up and work like a standard X1 remote, including the "Xfinity" button. Great.
