I use them with Cox Contour 2. The remotes don't have voice control but I don't usually use that feature anyway and they were a lot cheaper than buying Cox spares. I had to follow the instructions to reset the remote before it worked.

We had to replace our remotes - we tried them on two TVs - one Samsung and the other Vizio - none of them would sync so we could turn up the volume or change channels - so yes, $35 spent. We missed the return window by 11 days - my wife had surgery so didn't have time to try them out sooner.

Works well. Passes multiple walls with ease. beautiful appearance. The buttons on mine glow red when you move the remote, which is very useful in the dark. It's a bit touchy, so if you press it lightly you'll end up in a different channel or menu, but I can blame the product on my own operator error. Would buy again.

Reason 2 is because I did a lot of research, or so I thought. But it turned out not to be compatible with any of the Xboxes in my house. I was very happy with that. One of our Xfinity remotes fell and broke. I ordered these as a replacement. It's much better than the original remote control. Two upgrades are the backlight so you can see the remote in low light. The backlight activates when you move, so it's awesome. Second, there is an enter key. This is the remote control that was supposed to come with the Xfinity X1 system. The solid shape is less likely to slip out of your hand than a standard remote, the backlit buttons are great, and the flat back keeps it from rolling. It seems a bit larger than the standard remote so it might bother some people, but other than that it's excellent.
