Plastic is melting on prongs
It has been three months since installation, I just noticed that it has started to melt on the prongs. I'm not sure if his product failed or if it just overheated. I use the recommended 8 AWG silicone wire connected directly to the battery with a disconnect switch and heat shrink tubing. I'm not sure why it can't run at low speeds from 2 gears on a 55lb thrust bow engine.
