This trick is quite good. I think it's a 3 inch pipe which allows for a lot of airflow but also creates a lot of turbulence in the bypass valve. If you are using a standard diverter valve you will hear a high pitched whistle tone indicating a leak. B. due to turbulence. If you already have an aftermarket or plan to fit a secondary distributor valve then I'm sure it will work fine, I haven't gotten to that yet. Installation was a bit tricky just because it's such a big pipe. ... Make sure it doesn't rest on the master cylinder. I'm also not sure if the heat shield is that good, but I haven't run diagnostics so I'm going to assume what it looks like under the hood.
