This monitor has fantastic picture quality! As I type, I watch a video that looks clean and smooth. The base is stable and the monitor makes a high-quality impression. [.] As for the cons, I agree with other reviewers. Viewsonic didn't have to worry about speakers, and you didn't have to plan to use them. The little built-in speaker you probably have in your computer is almost as good. I have some inexpensive external speakers and was hoping the Viewsonic speakers would replace them for my everyday use (I have a wireless Airport Express connection to my stereo for MP3 listening), but these speakers are useless. Ultimately, you buy a monitor for the picture quality. Judging by those criteria, this monitor is cool!
