I think it's ok if you know its features

Probably 2.5 stars but I'll be generous. This portable compressor is not an accurate gauge; However, you can work around this if you know the ins and outs. I'll start with the cons. After all, everyone is here to see the cons. 1) Pressure gauge reads 2.5 psi. It's consistently at 2.5psi, so at least you know how to compensate. 2) The compressor inflates your tires 1.5psi higher than you set. That high pressure combination of 2.5 and 1.5psi means that if you want the end result to inflate to, say, 35psi, you need to set the compressor to inflate to 31psi. Or you can set it a little higher and deflate. I've seen these digital inflators add 0.5psi to the input weight to allow for leakage when not plugged in, but 1.5 is a bit overkill. Again, if you know this is the case, you can plan for it. However, it should be more accurate. (I have tested the pressure with a high quality analog gauge that I have compared to other high quality analog gauges and know that it is accurate to 0.5psi.) Current. . The compressor light was on and it went on and off several times until I put the plug in the right place. On the contrary, I have no problem making a solid connection with my radar detector's connector. 4) The unit got warm after adding 7psi to each tire, but it wasn't hot and the fact that it's plastic and not metal makes a big difference. well, so you don't burn yourself. 5) It would be very nice if it came with some sort of carrying case like my Jaco did. Pros: 1) Once you know the quirks you can set the psi and go while the tire fills up (unlike my analog portable compressor which you have to monitor and/or count if you know how many psi per second You receive). 2) The connector to the valve stem (which sure has a name. Sorry!) is pretty good. It closes tightly and releases quickly so I had minimal leakage. 3) The kit includes an extra fuse, which is nice. I paid $23.99 for it so I won't return it at that price as it's good enough. It's the low price that makes me up my 2.5 stars to 3 instead of 2. I'm glad I didn't pay more. I think anything over $29.99 is a little overpriced. Interestingly they are bringing me an Astro AI digital pressure gauge tomorrow. I'm curious if it's disabled. I will update this review if anything changes. I've only used it once.
