Review on Enhance Your Truck's Utility with Bull Ring Raised Fit Classic: The Perfect Accessory for Hauling Challenges by Travis Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you have a running board. Read it!

These bull rings will come in handy and I have no doubt they can support the advertised 1000 pounds when properly installed. However, if you have a STEPSIDE truck, be very careful when towing loads! I have a 2002 GMC Sierra Stepside which means my bed panels are fiberglass. The bed rails are made of metal and have an inverted L shape connected to a fiberglass outer shell. Standard bed rails are more of an inverted U shape and provide more support on the outside edge. If you overtighten these rings, the outside edge of the bed rail may bend in/up (see image (note I'm lifting the plastic cover in the image)). They still withstand enough tension, but be careful. If you have a standard bed. Don't worry about that. The rings are not to blame for the flex. They stay true no matter how hard you pull on them. I bought two for the front of my bed where my toolbox is blocking the existing hooks and was so impressed I immediately bought two more for the back just to have on hand. They are great for fastening my kayaks and hold up great when we move. If this review helped you, please reciprocate and click Yes below!
