My 10 year old only wore them one day and they are now being put to good use. She made several falls on her new skates. Quality is good, pink is bright, not the pale color of bubblegum like it was advertised. By measuring her and following the size chart I got her size Large. Above the knee is the upper end of the large size. The sleeves are minimally loose, but she prefers to use velcro just because she's hot in them. For sizing reference, it's between US girls' sizes 14/16 (XL) and 18 (XXL), so about average for juniors with limited space. While she could use the medium for her elbows and wrists, it gives her room to grow. I would recommend them to everyone.
