Review on πŸ‘“ Enhance Your 3D Experience with ViewSonic PGD-150 Active Stereographic 3D Shutter Glasses by John Brazington

Very good 3D glasses easy to use

I have a Mitsubishi wd65c10 3D capable TV with 3D converter, Onkyo 3D receiver, Sony Blu-ray 3D player, 3D cable ( at least 1 channel)) and WD plus live. I tested 3D cable and WD live with the downloaded Bluray mkv file. 3D seems slightly superior to theaters with less tracing, but it's still not a Star Trek holographic deck ;) I've watched side-by-side and top/bottom formats with no noticeable difference after the converter combined them into a blurry image. which glasses turn into 3D. The glasses themselves reflect every light in the room (so looking in the dark) and sometimes added colors to the image, as I saw in another review. Goggles don't need an emitter (nice that you don't have to buy another piece of iron). With my current system I can connect 3D via DVD, Blu-ray, cable or file which is pretty cool. I will order the Blu-ray and DVD to see if there are any improvements. I've been paying attention to the components as I've replaced one at a time over the past year and finally got the last 2 (Mitsubishi converter box and goggles ($189) on Amazon versus the $399 Mitsubishi starter kit. 3D is a bit dimmer (so I switched my TV from default to brilliant) and the whole setup is a bit tricky, but it was worth the effort as I can now watch true 3D content from the comfort of my own home. I expect there will be more to come as this fad represents a new way of entertaining in the future. The glasses are large, non-stackable, and require batteries (2 with purchase). I just ordered a pair of 2 and 3 so I can watch 3D with my friends.
