I was almost desperate for more organization in my kitchen; I'm always searching and clanking in my cupboards for that one pot, pan or lid that I need at the moment. In truth, I probably had a few pots and pans that had to be donated as they weren't being used. It required some assembly, but not that bad. The hardest part was installing the split rubber washers at the base of the bottom wire. Some of the washers did not fully separate and had to be welded (read) to the wire base. Dividers slide easily into slots in the base for easy adjustment. The rack actually consists of two parts, one of which can be inserted into the other. Once you have the length you want, you can place the divider to hold that length in place. After assembling one (I bought 2) it was pretty quick and easy to install in my cupboard for all my pans and lids. The other went to another cupboard to organize the baking sheets. I don't think it saves me space. The fact is, I now know exactly where to find a particular pot, pan or lid in my cupboard.
