Most of the time the modem works fine. Today while I was working on the computer, the wireless network signal disappeared. Looked at my phone and got it! next to the WiFi icon, which means the internet may not be available. The weird thing is that the Echo Dot played music through all of the issues. The modem works great out of the box. I live in a small apartment and get great signals in every room. Testing the signal on my Fire TV devices, I get close to 170-190 Mbps on each test. I would definitely buy it again instead of renting the modem from Comcast/Xfinity. I have not yet contacted customer service for this modem. Once you've clicked a star, you can't remove it.
