2002 C5 Corvette LS1 Bolt

This set of Allen bolts was fantastic. I haven't really seen many reviews and would love to take photos before installing. It looked like an ARP bolt. The kit included a screw, washer and grease along with instructions. I locked my crank after updating the head and cam. I disabled the new factory bot after the update. I didn't repair the crank at first. It was a tough lesson. I did the GM procedure on the original bolt before installing the new one. The instructions state that the torque should be reduced to 235 ft-lbs. I used a 300lb 3/4" torque wrench and a 3ft stretch tube to get this torque. I also made a tool out of 1" square steel tubing with two hardened 3" studs welded on with 4" OC. I saw how to do it on one of the forums. I was able to do all this without outside help. I wouldn't want to do it again. Can't say enough about the quality and that said it was made in the USA.
