I bought these to use with herbal remedies for Lyme disease. Finding the glass jars recommended for the Cowden Protocol was a major problem. I started using small jars with balls because I needed 4 jars a day and 2 more for a cycle. The metal on the lids rusted within a week. I switched to baby food. rust again. I bought glass baby food jars with plastic lids and they leaked. So I finally tried them and I'm glad I found something to use. I recommended them to the Cowden FB group because everyone was talking about the lack of good quality glass jars with watertight lids. The metal fittings are strong and fit well. Bottles don't leak when you're on the go. And I gave a friend spare parts for storing cannabis and she also says they are perfect for that too. Good quality at a very good price.
