i bought these bags for cold brew coffee/tea and after making 3 batches of coffee, i have noticed that it doesn't really filter out a lot of the debris and you can get a sludge-like thing at the bottom of your jar. maybe its because i user error since i make mine with storebought grounds, and the ground size can vary, but i still feel that a good strainer should do that. strain. the mesh is fine, but i feel that a cloth would be more effective or maybe i should double up these ones? ill try that.regardless of its success with coffee, i will use this when making cheese or anything that needs to be strained but is relatively big, or even as a produce bag! this is a pack of three, and the biggest one is quite large.good for coarse materials, but not for coffee.
